Here we have a nice reproduction of a tool commonly used back in the day to adjust Mopar drum brakes. With this tool you can accurately make both the minor AND major adjustments needed to get the most out of your MoPar drum brakes….and you’ll do it with the drums OFF, which is the trick. Comes with directions…but it’s pretty easy to use. Just turn the adjusting bolts on the back of the backing plate until the upper portion of the brake shoes make contact with the drum. Then take the drum off and rotate this tool to adjust the base of the shoes out to match the position of the upper section of the shoes. Repeat the whole process one time for final adjustment. In this way you’re brake shoes make maximum contact with the inside of the drum. It’s easy and works great!
